struct CxxThingamabob { ... } #[derive(Serialize, Deserialize)] #[serde(transparent)] struct SerializableCxxThingamabob(CxxThingamabob);That just moves the Serde implementation to a different struct, so that you can choose which one you want by either wrapping or unwrapping it.
