Any shortcuts or do I just use the full URL?

You can write links like this:
[!meta@lemm.ee](/c/meta@lemm.ee)
. This will result in: !meta@lemm.eeis there a way to automatically convert /c/meta@lemm.ee into a link, like reddit does? ngl I feel like this is going to confuse the heck out of a lot of people
Not yet, but it’s a highly requested feature, so keep an eye out in future versions of Lemmy!
awesome!
just curious - do admins of one instance have the chance to help develop lemmy as a whole, or just lemm.ee? Say you suddenly want to work on the feature i just mentioned (autlinks for /c/ ) - would you only be able to implement it here? or across all instances?
All contributions made to the main Lemmy GitHub repo will be available to all instances!
There’s of course nothing physically stopping somebody from only modifying their local instance and not sharing the changes back with the rest of the community, but that’s certainly not my approach - I have been sending all my contributions as pull requests to the main repo.
I see. Thanks for all the work you’re doing behind the scenes!
