I’ve been watching a japanese sword master on YT demonstrating moves. It’s very interesting how they decide when they pull it out which side of the curve they lead with, a choice they make in a split second, and the different attacks each method would have. Even European swords weren’t just sharp hammers, they had practical moves and defenses lost in the movies.

I never thought WeWork would succeed. Reasons:

• the library was free to work at
• they leased the property and then subleased it after rebuilding the inside
• they offered free drinks, snacks, some places had gyms and showers too.
• expanded very quickly and in LA had locations within a block of another.

They are still around. It’s still around the same price to rent a desk for the day. But Regus, the actual property owner has their own desk rental service too.

I lived in a failed HOA in California, 8 unit condo, slipped thru the cracks. We shared a water bill so that was getting turned off a lot. We had a large leak that we ignored for years until we couldn’t and had to collect $500 from each dirtbag to get it fixed. 3 of us cared, the others I hope have a painful demise.
