And God forbid you move too fast for the machine to keep up! Fucking “modern” technology.

R/Greebles and r/crabcats!
Spying on the pussy next door.
Absolutely this. Roombas are like stupid puppies; you think you have the house roomba proof, only to come home to find it stuck in some obscure corner, whining pathetically.
I microwave my ice cream. Not until it’s completely melted, but till there is just the right mix of melty and firm. Even better is eating microwaved ice cream in the middle of winter while cuddled under and electric blanket. Pure bliss!
There is a ton of shaming done. Politicians, ceos, newspaper headlines bitching about how no one wants to work, how people need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, how a major economic depression with 50% joblessness will teach workers to appreciate their jobs and their bosses more.
While at the same time telling us to stop buying daily coffees and making avocado toast. Just another way to fuck us up.
I miss these being as ridiculous as headlines got.
Who eats their hotdogs cold?!
To your cheese sausage I would reply “And for you, I have tuna patte.”
Chastity belt… CLANG!
Not a single mention of Blowfly Girl
It could have been so much better, but The Black Cauldron with the oracular pig is a favorite.
Edit to add: and The Goonies!
Made all the better. Dark fantasy at its best.
This and the constant lying while doing it!
Thank you for the efforts you are making. This is a serious situation; more than just dealing with bad actors, you are viewing traumatic images.
Please, for your sanity and well being, prioritize your self care. Things like this linger in the psyche much longer than you would expect.
As ideal as that sounds, who would maintain the noncorporate internet? The government paid for with taxes? The users? How much of your time, energy, money, system would you be willing to sacrifice for a digital public square?
So do you feel that companies should never sell/use a person’s info even if the product is free? Would you accept greater amounts of advertising and the use of anonamized user data if it meant your personal info was never sold?
I will always be thankful for Dialectical Behavior Therapy by Marsha Linehan. I have never been diagnosed as borderline, but the lack of basic coping and interpersonal skills was obvious. It wasn’t a cure, but it has given me a foundation on which I was able to move forward with deeper, therapeutic processes. Frankly, I think everyone should go thru all the modules at least once.
