I knew the forced dns thing because I have a pihole, and blocking port 53 traffic not heading to my two PIs has not happened yet, despite my best efforts. Shit aint simple for me, much less regular people.
Pihole can be broken with a free vpn, or even just forced DNS on device.
Saw this downloader on my feed today, and it looks neat.
torrent galaxy has what you’re after (as a boxset), and does imdb id search results.
Very neat.
It’s also nice to have a reminder about choosing hardware for now and for future choices as well. I’m still on an nvidia 1080 but I’ll likely use amd next go around.
Nope. SD cards can do terabytes now. Walking away with it is probably the easiest part of the whole heist plan.
Getting around the obscure hardware and software DRM schemes, moving that much data quick enough that you don’t have to make two trips, getting the knowledge required to do all that… I figure those would probably be harder.
I ended up using a cam for a movie from 2009 to check to see if the movie had differences between the theater version and the DVD release. It didn’t but it was neat that I could, 15 years later.
So I respect it, but also, good god will I never actually watch them for the actual movie itself.
I think that if Disney was confident in whatever movie it is they’re making, they would have kept RDJ’s involvement on the down-low, to surprise the audience. Instead, they made this big hullabaloo about RDJ coming back.
Disney famously broke the contract with Robin Williams to advertise him in Alladin. I don’t think Disney would ever keep a big stars involvement ‘on the down-low’, regardless of how confidant they are about a movies success.
They make you compile it because it’s non-free software and you’re beta testing it in order to use it for free.
It has nothing to do with linux. They do the same for the windows beta.
Because everything’s a trade-off, people optimize different systems for different things
And microsoft has chosen to optimize windows 11 for online advertisers above or equal to the user experience.
Datas is more fun to read.
Yeah, autoscroll just isnt as good as manually moving rhe mousewheel, and i use paste way more than i ever want to scroll through a 10+ page document.
Nah. Metric should have just been base twelve.
I love the idea of that feature, but it is not at all reliable in my experience.
Your best bet is the nvidia sheild. Osmc does not do well with DRMed streaming services at all. I struggled to make youtube work on it.
They’ve changed their error message. Now they’re just fucking with us.
Used latitude.
If you want a live conversion and can’t afford the >100$ it would cost to grab an ssd for a scratchdisk, you might also look into using vlc to grab the video stream from source camera, and encode it out to somewhere else, such as a webserver.

You might also need a script to make sure it’s always up.
Alternatively, there’s a good chance that zoneminder will be able to do what you want with just a little tinkering. https://zoneminder.com/
You understand that, for everyone except for a complete network pro, that is worse for security and privacy, right?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that you can.
But the reason piracy websites struggle so much with long term stability isn’t because they’re hosting the wrong software.
