That doesn’t sound super optional
That doesn’t sound super optional
So then it kinda just sounds like they’re doing things they want to do
Definitely air, but towels are probably second
Are there methods to deal with this sort of exhaustion from… gestures broadly at everything ?
Before you put the blame on everything outside - not being judgemental, it’s definitely not going great out there - have you gotten checked out by a doctor? Exhaustion might just be because the world is in shambles, but it’s just as likely to be because of something fixable - depression, some thyroid disorders and iron deficiency all present in the same way as what you describe.
It’s criminal to let someone do the thing he actively volunteers to do? It’s criminal to use software that someone intentionally puts out into the world as free?
If you’re willing yo do something for free, people are going to let you 🤷♂️
It sounds like they’re deeply invested in their hobby (which is great) at the expense of other things (which is not great), and I’d say that is relatively common. It’s a shame that it isn’t a hobby that you share, but I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing.
When you say “let’s just sit and talk,” what are you trying to talk about?
I guess I’m a little confused… why are there duplicates at all? What operation are you performing that ends with duplicates?
Is this drive just where you download them to, and then move them to your organized drive? Why do the books ever touch this drive at all? If there isn’t supposed to be media on the drive, why not just delete the source folder after the organization task is complete?
I hope someone gives you a good answer
I honestly don’t know that there is one. What OP is looking for is effectively an AI librarian… this is literally a full-time job for some people. I’m sure OP doesn’t have quite that many books, but the point remains
…what? No, I don’t see that at all
lol, that pansy has never done a day of hard work in his life.
Sure on stocks, but would bonds be considered gambling?
This would technically only be true for cakes with filling - a normal cake doesn’t have 6 sides of carbs, it’s all the way through.
However your statement makes it seem like all homeless people have some kind of dangerous psychological issues, and that is a wild accusation.
He never said anything like this, and specifically called out pretty low probabilities throughout his comment.
DrLupo. I watched him a bunch when he was on twitch, but he got kinda arrogant and negative over the years. Now I watch the people he used to play with before he changed 🤷♂️
The issue with either is from the risk of popping/leaking: if your pillow leaks, your entire mattress might be fucked. The risk vastly outweighs the improvement
Constant urges to nap and trouble getting up afterwards are both common (but in no way definitive) symptoms of depression. Definitely above Lemmy’s pay grade - you need to talk to a doctor/therapist. Absolutely do not take antidepressants without consulting them.
The two most popular uses of “-punk” are Steampunk and Cyberpunk. One represents more of an design aesthetic than anything, and the other is defined by a hyper-corporate dystopia and is by far the more well-known of the two.
Why would anyone name a sociopolitical movement in the same vein, when the negative connotations are so obvious? Is this movement trying to fail?
Being suspicious of people in hoodies isn’t racist 🙄 if you only got nervous around black people in hoodies, then sure, but there’s nothing wrong with being cautious of people who are concealing their identity. They might not be wearing it for that reason, but that’s still something it does.
The game itself isn’t open-source, but its free and I think it’s fair to say made in the spirit of open-source
…what does this mean? How is it made in the spirit of open-source if it is closed-source? Free is not at all the same thing.
“Just days AFTER ?”
Someone’s getting fired for being so slow.
