I have a serious question for you. If a man is looking for a woman on a dating site, why would he post a bunch of pictures with women? I mean, it seems like it would raise more issues.
Do you want to see other women in his pictures to show that he is dateable? Maybe you want to compare yourself to his past relationships? As a man, I would not post pictures of me with women when I’m looking for a woman. The whole point is to highlight me and my eligibility, not raise questions of whether I’m a womanizer looking for my next conquest.
Then again, maybe that’s what you’re looking for? Someone who’s cool, and has lots of women hanging around him? I don’t know.
However, I do agree that if all he has on the profile is fishing, he’s probably not doing much else. I’d include a whole lot more stuff.
Funny thing is, what you say you seek is what I used to seek, but somehow I always ended up broke and overworked when i was with women. Maybe you’re one of the good ones I never found. Oh, well.
This - and besides, industrialists have polluted almost every lake and river so that eating those fish might kill you slowly. Being able to both catch and cook is an exhilarating experience when out in nature, though.
As someone who does not use dating apps, it seems to me that a lot of men who are not city dwellers get lots of joy out of fishing. It seems rather insulting to demean someone for showing one of their favorite activities to potential mates. To those who would do that, I would ask why not simply move on quietly?
Now that I think of it, those men are dodging bullets like Neo. Smart guys. If I ever decide to put myself out there, I’m putting up pictures of myself at a campground with a fishing rod and bicycle in the background. That should weed out any women who expect four star resorts, expensive restaurants, and expensive toys for their mere presence.
I gave up after my second divorce, I hope you have better luck. Beware, most seem to be looking for free everything with no work for them.
Any android device that was released since Android 10 can take a GSI image. I know a galaxy tab 8 can run the GSI from Andy Yan based on testimonials. I will eventually install it on mine. I have it on my galaxy tab 10.1 2019 and I added MicroG. I’ve been running that for over 2 years.
Install something like LineageOS and use Librera or another reader from F-Droid. You will have a much better experience. If you really want to ditch Android , maybe you can get Ubuntu Touch, but device compatibility is dicey.
It’s so heartwarming to see a non-cynical take on something on the Internet. Thanks!
Obviously, the assumption is one spouse supplies all the money, housing, trips, etc., while the other receives adoration and gifts. It’s the huge social stereotype some of us are expected and/or forced to play out.
I set up the mount points in configuration as dynamic NFS volumes and added Bookmarks to nautilus. You can get to the volume either with cd command or right-click -> terminal here. You can shut down the NAS and only lose the share, which returns when the system goes online.
This is much better than WbDAV, which is fine for simple sharing or for devices that can’t handle NFS easily like Android phones.
Wait until you are 50. Anyway, this reminded me of this little gem
Actually, I’m past my 30s and my main complaints are lack of flexibility, and difficulty keeping my weight under control. More focus on exercise would likely help.
So far, DNS type blockers appear to be unaffected. I use adaway with magisk. In the other hand, I don’t generally use my browser to watch videos. I use Newpipe.
And here i thought it was just a funny movie all hese years!
You use a VPN, right?
I toyed with i2p several years ago. Back then it was very frustrating - both slow as a snail and hard to find working, non-darknet resources.
I recently saw a c++ implementation, so I will toy with it again.
For now, a VPN is enough for me to be safe, and I can get speeds up to 15 MB on popular torrents.
Here’s a supporting example; my son wants to see Blue Beetle. I checked it out, and the rental is $20 - for a streamed “right to view” which means there is zero marginal cost for them to produce, track, or retrieve it. Even with recent inflation, you can get a restaurant meal for that.
I’m pretty sure ethical pirating is mostly just justifying it to oneself.
That said, these corporations regularly steal from their customers and employees in many ways they can and cannot see. In that respect, pirating is more of a way to fight back.
Stealing is not ethical, but these profiteers do much worse on a daily basis, including stealing from those who created their profit engines. See Bill Willingham’s recent release of Fables to the public domain for a common example.
For me, a C# developer by trade, this is easily solved with a one command C# call. It’s possible you already have dotnet 6 or 8 on your distro as there are many C# Linux apps now.
