As background twox was the original reddit name, which was chosen way before trans issues became more seriously highlighted. Both the reddit and Lemmy twox are explicitly not transexclusionary and welcome posts by trans women.

Its not my shot to call, but the history of the name, why it was chosen, and given they’ve never been regressive it doesn’t seem overtly awful. Its just outmoded.
