I think it will get better when search engines start indexing everything. Right now it’s pretty hard to find any answers for lemmy outside of lemmy, so I could see how it can be confusing for new users trying to figure it out.

I don’t think there’s a way to get a direct link from pixelfed and lemmy doesn’t support html in comments as far as I know. I’d love to be proven wrong though, that would be a useful feature
