I absolutely agree with your recommendation, but man if they’re looking for something short, the mistborn series is the opposite lol
For a while when I had trailers enabled on Plex I would put the anti-piracy one up lol
It’s possible Just wasn’t the flavor I was looking for at the time. I’ll give another go at some point. I hear great things from people so it’s probably just send me a thing
I really enjoyed the first and could not get into the second in the children of time series
Wow, I didn’t even know that that was something to be concerned about. I will be much more cautious when I finally dig my Atari on the storage. It’s been probably 20 years since it’s been turned on. I don’t even know if it would turn on at this point. Thank you for the heads up!
Oh hey! Actually I did find a news article. I was curious if I could https://medium.com/@divitia/what-are-plex-shares-why-they-were-banned-f5a43735ffbb
Edit. Just finished reading it… Eh… “News” might be a bit of a stretch for the article.
I mean the source I have is not really particularly great, Just my first hand account and what I was told about why we were moving to a different system. It was just that I was part of a plex share where all of us were getting banned for it being associated with the the Plex share. So the plex share moved over to using emby.
Our plex share had to move over to emby. And then they were kind of going through in systematically banning people. So a lot of people just got banned for pirated content.
Ahhhh, So this is why they’re really cracking down on banning plex shares.
Dude. I am 33 and love my library. I joined their book clubs and walking groups. I am the only one under 65, but it is so much fun.
What’s your favorite memory of working in that field?
Thank you so much. My partner is a teacher and just got excited seeing all those ones as well. You made my day!
The surgery that kept me alive at birth wasn’t invented until the late '80s. So I guess I would just be fucked no matter what. So put me wherever they want, any time before 1950 is going to suck ass for me.
Now assuming that part of my time travel comes with being able to fix my heart stuff. I would like to be born in the early 1900s. I can’t think of a single time where I’m not going to fight both war and awfulness in the general world. But at least then I could be around for some cool developments.
That’s fair. I live in a very rural town
My biggest issue with ebooks in the library, and what led me into more ebook Piracy. Having to wait to check out a digital book. I know the library has to pay like yearly licensing subscriptions to a lot of these books, and it’s just so annoying to me that it doesn’t cover everybody having access to it. I sit on the library board and one thing we’re talking about doing is a graphic novel service for a lot of the youth. And low key, I’m stoked for the graphic novel service too. But that one’s unlimited access.
Yeah, but have you checked out frets on fire. It too can have your own music. Although… That’s even further from a vampire survivor game.
Also, to piggyback onto your comment. Stardew valley without mods is still a very enjoyable game. I had about 300 hours in the game before I installed my first mod. There’s a lot of great quality of life ones, but out of the box it’s still phenomenal.
Holy shit. A 2tb thumb drive? I didn’t know those existed.
Oh I absolutely agree with you about the sequels as well. I tried reading the one that takes place more of like the Victorian era and just could not get into it
