Same. One of my buddies has put our world on a dedicated server at some vps farm so it’s always online now. Which was a project of itself

Borderlands 2 is great! Should work with Proton.
This is the type of action where it matters what the dude looks like.
I think that really depends on the news site. News from my country is very well suited for RSS.
I think what you’re describing is the need for RSS feeds. Generally, news outlets categorise their articles neatly so you subscribe with RSS to only headlines, or world events, or whatever. It requires you to have a look around the news site in question and setup RSS correctly.
The other neat thing is that you can read all your RSS feeds (ie multiple news sites) in one reader and there are tons of custom RSS apps.
I share your disdain for gossip and mainstream money grab promo. And ads. My god how much do ads suck.
Yeah by the time Win10 is deprecated I am hoping Linux is more suited towards my needs anyway. There’s little sense in going open source and staying with Windows. It’s well past its prime.
I’m not using ublock origin, Vivaldi has built-in ad blocking. If I were to switch, I’d switch to Ladybird
Yeah I’m holding out for that dude who built a new browser from the ground up and made it fully open source. It’s called Ladybird.
Me but Vivaldi and Adnauseam.io.
Ads are a dystopian nightmare but for some reason nobody seems to care
Been sorting new all my life on reddit and I’ve been using Boost forever so now I use Boost and sort by new. I enjoy not seeing the same shit over and over.
Battery tech and self-sufficient energy solutions for a home in general. Being able to provide your own energy and store it for later use is just excellent.
We own a VW Polo and called it Pollie. Then I got a newer Polo, company car. We called it Marc, as in Marc-O-Polo
Well I tried. We spell it Krakau in my language.
Slow your roll, there. There’s still over a month of summer. And considering how the climate is changing, we can still have nice weather in October.
Obrigado para as recomendancões! Eu tenho tentar de entender sua resposta sem tradução. Minha Português não já é muito bem, mas eu tento.
A lingua está muita linda é eu vou continuar de a estudar!
The Italians don’t do a shabby job either. By and large I prefer wine south of France.
I haven’t seen much of the world yet. My dad was set on Germany and later Austria for holiday destinations. When I started going myself I visited Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Portugal. I’ve also been to Budapest (Hungary), Prague (Czech) and Krákow (Poland). I’ve been to England a couple of times because of family.
But lately I’ve been to Portugal a couple of times. I like the Portuguese people, the food, the wine, the environment in general, the ocean… I’ve taken to learning the language as well.
I prefer southern Europe because a) it’s Europe so still familiar but the climate is better, as are the views. But there is still so much to see…
I was a DJ once so I used social media to keep up with artists, venues, promotors et cetera. Out was shocking to see how quickly I went from a fringe character on the scene to a nobody who was completely out of the loop.
At a certain point I just stopped caring and my friends went through the same. Finished college, got a job, bought a house… Life catches up with you.
I’m in data engineering and that market is dominated by Microsoft. Understanding an os is essential if you’re, say, a sysadmin.
I’d recommend looking into some certifications. Some businesses are very sensitive to those.
Borderlands, particularly 2
