The adjustable base is a game changer! Helps with my heart burn and my husband’s snoring. Also, I’m sick rn, so have been watching a lot of tv in bed. Being able to adjust to more of a sitting position is awesome.

I don’t know about cheese fries being a salad. I think a salad needs at least 2 ingredients not including dressing/garnish. So you’d need to do cheese fries with like fried peppers too make it a warm potato salad.

I would say the important distinction is in presentation. Was it a bowl of onion and cucumber mixed together with ranch? If so salad. Was it a plate with a pile of cucumber and a pile of onion, with ranch for dipping? If so crudites.

Well now I don’t know. Couple of days ago, if you look at your profile there was a favorites section. That section is gone now…just when I thought I was figuring it out.

Part of the issue is an upvote means different things on different instances. I have a Lemmy account (inactive) and a kbin. Lemmy has Upvote, Downvote, and Star buttons which can be compared to Reddit’s system, with Star meaning saved. Kbin is different. It has Upvote, Downvote and Boost. For whatever reason, upvote on kbin is equivalent to Lemmy’s star (called favorite on kbin instead of saved) and Boost is more equivalent to a Reddit upvote. Boosts and downvotes affects post visibility and your Reputation, while upvotes seem to only save the information (for you) for later reference.

Yeah, just found the post again. Checked it out yesterday before OOP added the edits. I’m happy they clarified some things, but now it just seems boring lol.

Someone yesterday posted a question: Will be in a confined place for 3 days, cannot poop in that time, and will have to limit urination. What can I eat that won’t make me poop/will inhibit pooping, would be great if the food reduced sweating too. Don’t ask why.

The only things I can think of is that they’re trying to ship themselves somewhere, or doing some next level stalker shit. Otherwise you’d just say the reason right? Gotta be something illegal/dangerously stupid to post that question with the “don’t ask why” added at the end. It’s either that or sex stuff.
