Same reason most non technical people using Linux today do so on the Steam Deck. If you want to spread Linux, trying to convince individuals is going about it all wrong.
You need to convince Canonical or Red Hat to spend more on partnerships with manufacturers. I’m not sure if anyone else has deep enough pockets.
Oh man, I love adaptive cruise control. I also don’t agree that using it in the left lane is bad. If there’s a line of cars going too slowly, the person in front is the asshole, not the three using ACC behind them. You really shouldn’t pass on the right anyway, would definitely not call doing that driving safer.
Eh, that would kill the steam deck though and then developers wouldn’t be testing their games out with it nearly as much. Sure proton would still exist in some capacity but it would be way shittier.
One of us! One of us!
The show is not high art. No one will be winning an Emmy for acting. It certainly doesn’t warrant the high rating on RT. But it’s entertaining, engaging, visually stimulating and a fantastic adaptation of the games.
If you’re expecting a Last of Us calibre deep dive into society and the human condition coping with an apocalypse, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re expecting a fun romp through the wastelands with body parts gratuitously exploding into red mist, then look no farther!

No.
And that doesn’t make me stupid because there exist times I say yes.
Oysters
I’d guess wind is the biggest factor here, but it’s just not mentioned in this quote.
I’ll act whatever age I please thanks.
Lol people gave Starfield a pass? My feeds were (and still are, see this thread) overwhelming hatred towards it.
The so-called “supporters” aren’t even arguing that it’s a great game. Their argument is “it’s not that bad”.
This is a limitation of Wayland, aiui it’s not currently possible for apps to set this by default. You can right click and select always on top for now.
Imagine if your roommate could just get into all your accounts?
Yes I switched from YNAB to Actual Budget and this is the closest thing to what OP is looking for.
That said the interface isn’t as polished, there are no bank imports outside Europe, mobile apps are discontinued and reports are sorely lacking.
But if those aren’t deal breakers it has all the same core features and has been pretty solid for me.
Maybe try travel? Bring your laptop / deck / switch so you can game on the road. But do it from some place new. If you can work from home, maybe try moving around on short term rentals. Doesn’t need to be anything exotic, could be the next town over.
Anything to break up your routine a bit. Don’t look at it as a means to an end. Try and enjoy the journey itself
