What would you even want on the Arch homepage? The closest to a “default” Arch install would just land you at the TTY login/prompt. It doesn’t have the same out-of-the-box experience as other distros like Linux Mint or Fedora or even Debian.

Like I said we should try a different compositor just to rule it out.
Have you tried with a different compositor first to rule out whether cage is the issue? For example try sway.
Try different wifi networks and see if it happens there
Try different Linux distro and see if they’re affected too
For M.2 wifi adapters, Intel is generally the top choice.
