I should add i did install Against the Storm - but that was on Epic and I installed in on my SSD drive… and now that I am thinking about it both Cyber and Baldur are on my HDD since i have more room there… I wonder if that is it.

It happens - especially when company gets in trouble.

Ive honestly become more aware of this and I am doing my best to be better about it. I try to shop local. I’ve mostly moved to free and open source software. My last car and all future cars will be used cars from the 90s. I try to buy used mostly everything honestly.

I got serious about my data and digital foot print.

Please do not normalize this rampant artificial inflation. There is no reason prices should be as high as they are. None. Corporate profits are higher than ever. This is pure and simple corporate greed. This should not be normal.

I’ve not had good luck with Firefox on mobile, I use duckduckgo. I’m not forcing anyone to do what I do. YouTube is my main source of media for the most part. I use it on my smarts TV’s in my house - and I haven’t set up computers on all TV’s yet… So it is what it is and it works for me.

Edit: down voting my personal opinion and what I choose to spend my money on for my own convenience isn’t going to change my mind… Just saying

I pay for YouTube as well, it’s worth it bc of YouTube music which I like better than Spotify, I just need podcasts to get on board and we will be good to go. I will add YouTube is the only media I pay for (other than peacock for 1 month a year to watch tour de France)

This happens to me sometimes, I am running pop_os. It hasn’t been a particular window / program that does it, just seem to happen when something is thinking harder than usual. Then it goes away, I ynno, I’m not a screen scientist.

I’m sorry - video tutorials are so much easier for me to learn from than reading. I am 40 and have a disability. It’s far easier for me to comprehend a video than reading - and since I can’t have someone come to my home and teach or show me all the things I want to learn how to do - I watch videos.

I think the issue is corporate greed - not people wanting to watch cat videos and learn how to unclog a sink or watch someone cook something.
