Doesn’t that just cut one line at a time?

Move the cursor to the start of what you want to cut, press ALT+A, then move the cursor with arrow keys (you’ll see text be highlighted from where the cursor was to where you move your cursor), then once you’ve moved the cusor to where you want, press CTRL+K to cut.

EDIT: And with more complicated strings (like numbers or symbols - just regular-ass ASCII symbols) there will be tens of <stringItem>, because apparently numbers and letters don’t even work the same. Even line breaks have their own <stringItem>. And if the number of these <stringItem> and their charLen don’t match what’s actually in pt:data, it won’t open the file.

Lots or file formats are just zipped XML.

I was reverse engineering fucking around with the LBX file format for our Brother label printer’s software at work, because I wanted to generate labels programmatically, and they’re zipped XML too. Terrible format, LBX, really annoying to work with. The parser in Brother P-Touch Editor is really picky too. A string is 1 character longer or shorter than the length you defined in an attribute earlier in the XML? “I’ve never seen this file format in my life,” says P-Touch Editor.

No, but it also gives you a wider selection of mice to choose from, since you could just ignore the wireless functionality. Some of them may cost a bit more, but not necessarily very much.

Because some people want both options.

• Default right click -> customize toolbars fore simple rearranging of toolbars, density setting and stuff
• Changes made in about:config (such as “browser.tabs.tabMinWidth”)
• And the most powerful but difficult, userChrome.css. The UI of Firefox is actually defined by CSS. More info: https://www.userchrome.org/

To be super pedantic (sorry), that depends on how they’ve customized their UI. You can define a larger minimum tab width, if you’d like. Almost everything in Firefox is customizable.

Some people in the comments here seem really hostile towards those who want to disable the feature, but I support your “right” to customize your Firefox exactly to your liking. I’m just happy that we can even do that.

Getting this feature is awesome, and being able to turn it off is also awesome.
