Well Yes, But Actually No.

Netflix don’t make games (for now). They just bought the game’s license, remove all IAPs and paywalls, and include it with your Netflix subscription.

Generally it’s a good thing. HOWEVER! The way Netflix did it requires the studio to make a complete separate version of the game and give it to Netflix.

So most of the time, it became abandon-ware. Because the separated Netflix version stopped getting updates and bug fixes soon or right after release.

Be patient with a baby/child and not getting frustration… They may not always do what you want and it’s important to understand that it’s not on purpose, they don’t know any better (literally).

NGL, I miss subbing to 2 dozen cat subs. The numbers of cat related memes and pics on Lemmy are disappointing.

Hey, is it too late to buy a couple of n3dsxl in 2024? Is it unusable now as all online services are shut down? Can you still find game cartridges to buy?

I just want something simple to play co-op game with the wife and kids on camping trip or on-the-go sometimes. Last month I dug out my old DSLite from the attic and it’s still boot. My candy-crush-4-life wife love the Mario kart and couldn’t stop playing LOL. But we can’t justify to buy 2-4 Switch.

I beg to differ. Angry Bird, cut the rope, where’s my water, Space RPG, FRUIT Ninja, and a whole lot more, are classic mobile games in the beginning. They’re sometimes simple, yes, but at least there’s efforts in it to try to be original.
