Sardines are great and don’t taste like tuna. The best canned fish imo.

I like MeGusta, ELiTE, and NTb.
I’ve had a set of KRK Rokit 8s for 10 years now and they’re great. I’ve had them absolutely cranked for some parties and they haven’t showed any signs of giving up. Perhaps not the best studio monitors out there but the price to performance ratio combined with how long they’ve lasted makes them one of the better audio purchases I’ve made.

I use Bandcamp and redacted to fill my NAS, which runs Plex with a lifetime Plex Pass. For playback I use PlexAmp on Windows, iOS, and macOS. Very pleased with the radio / shuffle functions, sometimes it’ll absolutely nail a beat- and key-matched cross fade. Great for local library discovery.
My music library has continuity all the way back to 2000, I’ve still got a few vintage Napster MP3s from the 56k days.
Doesn’t matter, if you do things for yourself that’s intrinsic motivation. Doing it for money, because it pays the bills, or some other reason outside yourself would be an extrinsic motivation.
intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation.
You never do things for yourself? No hobbies or anything that are basically “pointless” aside from your own personal satisfaction? Never done something to challenge or better yourself with no reward from someone or something else?
It’s really not about that, but seeing as mods are deleting my posts I’ll see myself out. Real nice being censored for the first time.
All those sources you posted don’t refute what you quoted from the other comment. Seems like a “not as bad as” logical fallacy at play. The other poster didn’t say the US was without fault; even though the US has killed many people doesn’t make the actions of those other regimes any less bad.
Been rocking a set of ER-20xs for years now and I’d not see live music without them. It’s like having your own personal volume knob. I can put them in and get right near the speakers without blowing my ears out, or hang out by the sound guy with them only partially inserted.
I had a pair of 30$ musicians earplugs, but they really changed what I could hear. At concerts I couldn’t understand the lyrics; basically they changed the audible frequencies too much.
Sounds like they weren’t musicians earplugs after all. What brand? I’ve been using some Etymotic plugs for a while now and I like em for concerts. Gotta protect those ears!
Buy merch on Bandcamp, on a Bandcamp Friday. 100% of the money goes to the artist/label. They do these once a quarter or so IIRC.

If you never saw David Byrne interview himself you should check out this bonus feature from Stop Making Sense. It’s like 60 Minutes on acid.
Blizzards / nor’easters and ice storms happen in NY, in addition to some gnarly microburst storms. My worst was when a microburst hit CNY and delayed my start to high school as there was no power and trees were down everywhere for a couple days.
What’s so bad about volleyball? That’s one of the few gym classes I enjoyed. Pretty chill
Three bean salad, or anything with sweet vinegar sauce. That combo of vinegar taste and sickly sweetness is the single most disgusting thing I’ve tried. I can stomach most of the foods I dislike, but three bean salad will literally make me gag if I try to put it in my mouth.
