oh wow! congrats on prestiging the incremental gaming community!

i’m a big fan of Free/Libre/Open Source games and that includes a lot of incremental games (Trimps, Structure, AD, Fundamental, etc).
i don’t have any accounts on corporate social media (like Reddit/Discord) so a more open incremental game community is a welcome change.
hopefully developers will add a “join Matrix room” button instead of asking you to sign up for Discord.

i started making a little incremental TIC-80 game a while back and maybe i’ll actually finish it now that there’s a community i can share it with.

I think you’re missing the forest for the trees here.

PeerTube accounts are for video makers, not video watchers. If I want to watch a PT video, I can do so without an account. If I want to leave a like or comment, I’ll do so from my mastodon or misskey account. The reason Peertube servers don’t tend to federate with each other is because they don’t need to: they federate with mastodon/misskey/pleroma servers for the people who want to watch. (also, the https://spectra.video/about/follows page OP linked seems to ignore non-peertube follows?)

As for finding new videos on PeerTube, I recommend using sepiasearch.org

I haven’t heard of WireMin until now. Looking at their FAQs, they have a lot of promises and not much to back them up. There’s a lot of red flags here

• Closed source. It appears to be totally proprietary, so you can’t look at the source code to ensure that they aren’t lying about their product
• They will be introducing microtransactions into their chat app; likely using cryptocurrency.
• It’s full of web3 crypto nonsense. It seems to me the only real plan to fund development is to be bought out by a large investor in the future.

Looks like they’re missing Forejo and vervis, which federate using the ForgeFed protocol.
