  • Probably any of the ThinkPads I had. They were sturdy and just ran everything I put on them. Second place would be the Dell XPS 13, I like it because it is very small and light, but in the one I have now they already had to replace the motherboard after a month and when holding it with one hand it bends and sometimes does a click on the trackpad, but I don’t want to send it in a second time because I normally don’t use it like that.

  • I speak 4 languages, English, Swedish, German an Polish. At work in Swrden our office language was English because so many people from all over the world worked together. I was a consultant at the customers office. There was another consultant from Poland visiting the customer and after a heated meeting he sat down at his desk, which was adjesent to mine and called his collegues in Poland. Ha basically said that those Swedes are so stupid, they want us to use 9 women to give birth to the baby in one month instead of 9 months, without realizing that I could understand everything. I had to work hard to not burst out in loughter.

  • I got banned from r/korea because I recorded a video of a big newsworthy fire close to the motorway, uploaded it to my own instance of PeerTube and linked to it in my post.

They said I should have uploaded it to YouTube or some other 3rd party website to not be accused of self promotion.

After two years livin g in Korea and banned fro r/korea I moved to Lemmy and deleted my whole account there.

Now I am alone posting on !korea@lemmy.funami.tech
