Sounds like the screen is cracked. They are so brittle
lol… where do I start?
Eyes, went from being able to read the tiniest font to not being able to read a large font book in about 2 years.
2 knee surgeries
Getting up to pee 2x a night
Honestly, social media… Facebook is just absolutely full of bullshit meme’s for every type of occasion, and clicking on a single one sends people down that rabbithole. Eg… Say a person has a breakup with a person who exhibits some narcissistic traits and then relates to a meme about it and clicks on it (or pause too long), next minute the feed is full of gender hating memes, groups and pages to feed that part of the brain, and I think it is incredibly unhealthy. It just seemed a lot easier to meet people before heads were filled with social media influence
Honestly… Google Play… someone re-gifted my son a $20 Google Play card a few years ago, and I tried to buy something for him and realised the card was about 2weeks out of date, and after about 10 back and forwards with support, they wouldn’t honour it… a trillion dollar company. I get it, but their cold indifference just seemed mean
I have seen a few… I started work at a young age as an apprenticeship painter for the railways, and when I was 16 I witnessed my first fatality and had to get down onto the track and cover the remainder of her body with a sheet, I saw another lady OD in a waiting door and have her boyfriend put her on the train and jump back off again, but I witnessed the OD… plus a couple of relatives
Love can hurt too… I am going through a rough patch at the moment and I sometimes wish I never knew love because the pain of losing it is the worst pain in the world… I don’t think that helps you much, but it is another side
How much lost money have I walked past in my life and not noticed… can also include gold.
I got a cheap 4 bay Terramaster off Amazon for $250 AUD… they are on special a few times a year including prime day and Black Friday. They are ok. I get about 95MB/s write to a raid 5 array
Swept Away with Madonna… it was so bad I couldn’t finish it, I had zero interest in what might happen
I just realised that I probably wouldn’t realise it was strange, I might have to ask someone who knows me
Quite a few years ago I used eBay to find some of the toys I had as a kid… a unique Matchbox car, some original trilogy Star Wars figures, some collector cards. I associate them with my childhood so when I look at them of touch them it takes me back to that simpler time and makes me happy
over the last 15 years or so I would have spent $10k on mattresses of all types… inner spring, micro spring, full latex, a mix of above… all end up with body indentations that cause back pain. In the end I bought a cheap mattress in a box (Koala Brand) that is hard as a brick and a latex topper, it has been wonderful
Or tinnitus
Visually, you cannot beat the Darth/Luke battle scene in the carbonite freezing chamber in ESB… it is like art. The orange and the blue are so beautiful
I don’t think I have touched a pen for much other than signing my name since Covid hit
If I have already purchased a copy of the physical media, I don’t think it is piracy to acquire a digital copy of the same media for personal use
Buy cheap 4 bay nas and 3-4 disks (3 disks minimum) and setup raid 5 which will allow one disk failure. If a disk fails, pop disk out, put new one in (equivalent size or larger) and it will rebuild.
You could probably try build one using normal pc hardware and freenas software, but I personally find a purpose built nas operating system less of a headache and fairly cost effective
Just did some reading as it has been many years since I did firewall… looks like dns is mostly UDP, but fails over to TCP if the dns reply exceeds 512bytes.
Pretty sure DNS is 53 UDP. Not sure if you meant it like that.
Port 53 TCP is for dns zone transfers
