thanks!
I wish there was a really good Hamsters Lemmy…
thanks!
They are asking for recent papers. Sci hub only has payers published before 2022.
I havent looked into these other formats because maildir works for me. I can saxe local backups, remoxe mail from the serveg, and even put it back later. All plain text.
Look into isync / mbsync in combination with maildir utils (mu/mu4e) or notmuch.
Why the emacs hate?
Can you provide any source that it was created or initiated by what you call ‘a crazed bunch of emacs zealots’, or that the goal was to ‘unsurp the rightful position of “man”’. Quite bold statements that are unlikely to be true imho.
If the power lines are good, you can fairly easily extend your network with ethernet over powerline adapters:
https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Powerline-Adapter-Ethernet-Passthrough/dp/B0778Y6K6N
You plug one unit into an outlet close to your router and connect it to your router with an ethernet cable. You plug the other unit in in any other room in your house and connect it with ethernet to a computer, a second router, or any other device that has an ethernet port.
I still use it and there are still plenty of knowledgeable people who reply reasonably fast.
It will still mess up word docs with inline figures as well as powerpoint presentations.
Last time I checked out various newsgroups on different topics they were all pretty dead. What topics/which groups are you looking at?
Same. If I really need the website, I now use https://yewtu.be
That even though you are running an LTS version of Ubuntu (e.g. Ubuntu 22.04), some packages that have arrived over a year ago on e.g. 23.10 will never arrive on 22.04.
Example: i3-wm 4.22 or up (https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=i3&searchon=names&suite=jammy§ion=all).
I don’t have that issue. I am on Android 13. What in particular is slow for you? Navigating the app itself, the search, loading the videos? Has it always been slow?
O yeah, that one time I blanked completely during a presentation. Fun times.
For me that is not necessarily the case. Over the last week or so, I have been using sites like Lemmy Explorer and Lemmy Community-Browser to find communities that have my interest. I have also been browsing ‘all’ using the ‘new’ sort option and have been finding many new interesting communities that way.
I have also implemented it in emacs. It is awesome.
