Well you see, the neighbors on the right were a people without a land and once their neighbor leaves they will have found a land without a people

This was not the intention. I just thought it was a funny image
You mean other than the abuse of animals for human pleasure?
I don’t think cloning as a process is morally wrong but I don’t know all that much about it. I’m more concerned with the reasons we clone animals than with the process of cloning
Does this not count as a meme?
Fair point, I can see how this does not add to the conversation. Sometimes I forget I am not legitimately supposed to answer with a negative.

Ok yes but this makes no sense to someone with zero background in marxist theory.
This is what is being referenced ^
This means that the values of a society are determined by the economic structure but also that these values then reinforce that structure. So you end up with societal values that closely allign with whatever best reinforces the base. In the case of capitalism that is typically greed. So no, money alone doesn’t corrupt people or make them greedy but the economic system that money facilitates does.
Correct me if I am wrong about anything 👍
Perhaps you would prefer “the ruling class”?
My dad has been a server engineer for a single company for my entire life and he lived like this up until quite recently. His fear oscillates in magnitude with the success of the industry the company is a part of course so it isn’t always severe but I remember every few years as a kid I’d hear him and my mother murmering about lay offs. These days he just jokes about it being an early retirement
I need a physical copy of that
Yeah I posted this and went to bed without ever looking for the article. Made an edit that should federate soon enough acknowledging this
I edited my post 👍
Not enough
I’m not sure how this is in contradiction
The soviets were invaded by the nazis. The nazis were in the USSR killing them on their land. Would you expect them not to die? To not fight using whatever means they could to protect their families from actual nazis who they know have slaughtered millions? Who else’s lives would they use?
Interesting, I did not know about this. I’m hesitant to believe it bc its Kruschev but I will look into it further
Which was a very easy way for americans to fight the nazis at the expense of soviet lives. Not that their contribution wasn’t valuable of course. It’s just worth noting the full intentions of the united states.
Yeah that’s fair
