Don’t you have to host Mumble somewhere? With Discord anyone can create a server and invite friends for free with no technical knowledge required. That’s a huge plus. I also remember RadCall was a thing for a while, at least where I am from.
Crazy prices for movies and software like Photoshop. I’m still subscribed to YT Music, but I have to pirate music as silly wars between labels and artists result in music being removed from streaming services from time to time. For the same reason I don’t want to buy movies online - we don’t own shit.

If we’re comparing services run by enthusiasts to a service run by a commercial company, then I’d like to add my five cents: at least lemm.ee is much more stable than reddit.com.
If only there weren’t trying to make YouTube less usable. Currently if I listen to podcasts on YT and take a break, in a few hours it can completely forget that I was watching it, it’ll be gone from my watch history. This is so frustrating with 2-3 hours long videos.
I think if it was enough, we wouldn’t have viruses, as Microsoft Defender is enabled by default. I wouldn’t rely much trust on it.
