True. I do think this is a little bigger than “high school drama.” You go around farting all over the school and you’re gonna be seen by your peers as pretty gross.

Doesn’t mean you won’t have better social standing later in life and enjoy that. But it will likely be because you learned to start doing things like farting discretely.

Can’t speak to ADHD in particular and don’t want to discount the difficulty it adds, but one of the biggest hills I always have to get over is not judging my own thoughts. It’s easy to get frustrated that you aren’t able to achieve a more still mindset but at the end of the day the thoughts of judgement are just thoughts that can be observed like any other.

Just stop and consider the psyche that takes. You have to 1) be completely willing to sacrifice the most vulnerable of your own people and 2) admit that your enemy doesn’t want to kill those same people. Imagine how things may go if Israel attempted to use Jews as human shields against Hamas.

This isn’t the Palestinian people “resisting”, it’s their batshit “government” that would kill us all if they had their way, killing as many people as they can regardless of whether it actually helps the cause of their people.

There is no doubt the Israeli government has and continues to commit war crimes. But supporting or justifying Hamas is just insane.

The key metric is always: how many people would have to be in on it and never say anything. The ones that are hundreds or thousands of people are obvious nonsense. If it’s just a handful of people, it’s perfectly plausible.
