Biden has always been a piece of shit. That said, he’s old, his other son is dead, and his loser son got caught up in a shitstorm that had less to do with justice and everything to do with politics and optics. The country decided that it is happy to go down the a fully corrupt, inept and fascist rabbit hole, and Biden opted to save his loser son and tell everyone to go fuck themselves and go suck an mushroom shaped cock.

    but

EDIT: Don’t get mad at an old man for choosing to save his son. Be mad at a system that allows a man to abuse his power to protect his friends and family from consequences. For once, a proper use of “Don’t hate the player, hate the game”.

Him pardoning his son is a giant nothing burger.

Hunter was the victim of a partisan witch hunt that wanted to get him on Trumped up charges (pun intended) because of his last name.

100%. I’m not buying into this bull shit “be outraged about this” campaign. Trump is a felon rapist and going into the WH again after a terrible first term and he’s stacking his admin with unqualified loyalists. I don’t care if Hunter was pardoned and no one else should either.

Indeed, it’s just the Right Wing Media giving us more “It’s only wrong when Democrats do it” bullshit.

The real story shouldn’t even be “Biden protects son from Partisan Witchhunt” it should be “Trump returns to White House despite the 14th Amendment saying he can’t.”

I agree, if only there had been someone in charge of a government agency with the mandate to go after people like that, using a system of laws and justice, administered in some kind of court… Ideally someone the offender didn’t appoint themselves, with a time period of roughly, idk, 4 years to get it done?

TRUMP runs on ethnic clensing, claims he won’t project 2025, wins, immediately puts authors of 2025 in every key position. Convicted of over 30 felonies, convicted rapist, says ‘‘there will be some hardship’’ while selling is economic strategies that will destroy US economy, wants to stop billions a day in trade from Mexico. Refuses to appoint anyone that can pass a background check. Decides he doesn’t need to even PRETEND hell be lawful and ethical, caught on hot mic taking about disarming citizens. .

Especially since Hunter Biden was unfairly targeted just for being Joe’s son, and it’s clear the things he’s guilty of are clear examples of selective enforcement.

Anyone paying even the slightest attention just saw a father who was there for his son in his time of need.

It totally and completely is. I mean, it’s immoral and shitty, it’s a rich white person getting off because of connections, but that’s par for the course. It is expected. The annoying thing though, is the hypocrisy of a lot of the posters here. If Trump did something like this, they would be up in arms about how undemocratic and banana republic-like this all is. And this childish Harry Potter morality which determines how bad a thing is not by looking at the thing itself and its consequences but by looking at who’s doing the thing really gets to me.

And there are tens of thousands of people in his exact position but didn’t get pardoned because they don’t have that last name.

Like, he could have blanked pardoned that particular crime in general, but I presume that would have been too much paperwork and might have been too close to actually doing something good for his people.

Find me a case of another person being charged with purchasing a gun while being addicted to a drug. Or better yet tens of thousands. You might find someone arrested for attempting to buy a gun while on drugs, but none that reviewed their past logs and tried to find out they were possibly addicted at the time of a purchase of a gun.

It was an investigation that I’ve never seen anywhere before. Any normal situation and a judge would have dismissed it completely as the person was not on drugs at the time of the charge, nor harmed/threatened anyone with the gun

Note: several judges stated such laws were unconstitutional during the years of the investigation, so any Republican supporting it must admit that States have the right to restrict any and all gun purchases for any and all reasons as the constitution states no such laws pertaining to addiction over lap and gun purchases… Or the law cannot support that case

Sidebar: whatever he did with taxes if it was unlawful and others do get charged with it, sure he should be charged

Oh course. Certainly don’t mention the Democrat party that ran two uncompelling candidates against the most flawed opponent in history, spent 2.5 billion dollars in 15 weeks while having almost no presence nationally, and give the American people nothing to get excited about, exerting no effort while expecting IQs above 100 and plenty of involvement from every voting American in order to win, even though those Americans don’t really understand that inflated prices aren’t going down but that’s not the administration’s problem, they’re not going to change anything.

Well, yeah. Not being Trump is basically all that was needed. Given the choice between Trump and anyone else, You should automatically pick anyone else. It’s not hard to understand. Who cares about media presence, you go to the voting booth, locate the square next to Trump, and select the other one. What can be difficult or complicated about that? Most people in the world understand that, but not Americans. They’re too stupid, so fuck them, it’s their fault, I don’t give a shit what happens to them now.

All over the world right wing parties gathered more power but somehow Americans are more special? And everyone else is super smart because they should be?
No, you don’t just get to blame everyone else with saying they should have been more educated or more smart or just done what you say harder.

Those are not owed and do not work in a real world. But continue to live in fantasy and denial to make yourself happy as one of the good ones while being apathetic to suffering and giddy at the idea of punishment. If only you could personally hold the whip.

Not trump is not all that is needed cause people wanted him as well for reasons that if ignored make the whole issue a lot easier to assign blame on. And specifically calling Americans stupid as if their right wing lean lately is unique is false when the whole world went more right.
All of your points are bad and completely unhelpful and false.

If you aren’t understanding my response it’s cause you don’t want to see outside of the perspective you want. I’m talking to you. If you don’t want to hear it that’s you not me.

If that was Biden’s motivation, then where is Fauci’s pardon? Or Adam “Enemy from Within” Schiff’s pardon? Or what about Liz Chenney who is supposed to face treason charges according to Trump, where is her pardon? What about Jack Smith, where is his pardon? Kash Patel has an appendix in his book which is a literal enemies and prosecution list, any pardons for anyone on that list?

If Biden was concerned about the Trump justice department going after his political enemies, and Biden wanted to protect those people, there’s probably 80+ pardons he should be handing out.

But instead he only issued one. For his son. So Biden is either actually concerned about overreach of the Trump justice department but he’s only willing to save his son, and leave everyone else hanging. Or, Biden isn’t actually that concerned with the Trump justice department and is just abusing his pardon power to protect his shithead son from the consequences of his own actions. Either way, fuck Joe Biden.

So true. I’ve also been impressed by how quickly neolib outlets like Vox have turned on Biden. I knew in 2020 I would live to be a hero/genius for not voting for Genocide Joe in retrospect, but the “The DNC cannot fail, only be failed” set’s lines have collapsed way faster than I would have expected after 16 years sans internal dissent being tolerated.

      WHAT COULD GO WRONG?

What could go wrong is millions of childish idiots would decide to walk across broken glass barefoot because they don’t like the choices of shoes available. And then blame it on whoever brought the shoes.

I don’t disagree with you fully, both things are to be blamed here. An average person should do a proper research before voting, but a party should also give people what they want instead of forcing specific candidates. To be blunt, good amount of voters are idiots and ignorant, so it’s party’s responsibility to figure out what they want and then base their campaign on that. Thats where primaries can play a huge part.

The Democratic Party did try to campaign based on what they thought the public wanted and what the country needed, and more than 74 million people showed up and voted for her. The 10 million or so Democrats who voted in 2020 but didn’t in 2024, who could have changed the outcome but didn’t, can’t blame the party for their own fuckheadedness.

You see thats the problem, you didn’t bring shoes. you literally spread the glass. bringing shoes would have meant having policies that would actually help working americans.

I showed up and voted. The problem was y’all who didn’t. You also literally don’t understand what the word “literally” means.

Oh I showed up and voted. you’re not some special snowflake. just didnt vote for harris or trump. get better candidates next time and maybe we’ll support your shit party. You know maybe people who dont shit on a minority group being murdered by our policies their entire campaign, or immediately try to through lgbt+ groups under the bus immediately following their loss. Maybe someone who also supports policies beneficial towards the working class.

You know, basic fucking human decency. if you want safety for yourself you need to support safety for others. which dems clearly don’t. Next time you spout ‘blue no matter who’ or other such nonsense to defend your preferred parties candidate remember: you need to actually give people reasons to vote for your candidate. things you may not personally agree with.
